What is Ferro-grad C®
Ferro-grad C® is a therapeutic oral iron supplement for the prevention and treatment of tiredness and fatigue associated with medically diagnosed iron deficiency.¹
Ferro-grad C® is a tablet taken daily, or as directed by your doctor.¹
Each tablet contains a therapeutic dose of ferrous sulfate (elemental iron) and vitamin C to help your body absorb the iron.² ³
In addition, Ferro-grad C® is modified release which helps to reduce the chance of gastric side effects compared to immediate release of ferrous sulfate.⁴ ⁶
As with any medication, you should talk to your doctor before taking Ferro-grad C®.
How to take Ferro-grad C®
Swallow one tablet daily, or as directed by your doctor.¹ Ferro-grad C® can be taken with or without food.¹ ²
Ferro-grad C® is usually taken for three to six months, but your doctor might advise a different treatment duration.¹ ² It can take time to replenish your iron levels, so it’s important to complete the course of treatment prescribed by your doctor.²
Even if your symptoms improve after a few weeks, do not stop taking Ferro-grad C® without talking to your doctor or pharmacist first.²

Ferro-grad C® explained
Ferro = Ferrous Sulphate (elemental iron)
Ferro-grad C® contains a recommended therapeutic dose of 325mg ferrous sulfate, equivalent to 105mg elemental iron per tablet.²
Grad = Gradual Release
Ferro-grad C® is formulated to modify the release of iron which helps in reducing gastrointestinal side effects.⁴
C = Vitamin C
Ferro-grad C® contains 500mg of vitamin C per tablet to help your body absorb iron effectively.² ³
